Imagine yourself to be a top chef and you have been a given the task to train a group of convicted people how to open a high-end restaurant having nil culinary skills. Quite an impossible task huh? But for Marc and Biana, they are ready for any challenge. But who are these people and what is this challenge all about?

Meet world-renowned executive chef and his wife and business partner Biana Zorich at ‘Conviction Kitchen’ featured on Planet Green of DISH Network .

Marc and Bianca has accepted the challenge and put their reputations at stake to train a group of 24 ex-convicts to open a first-rate restaurant who have no prior experience in cooking. The top chefs are given a period of 3 weeks to educate and train a staff of former bank robbers, thieves and minor offenders. It will be quite interesting to watch on DISH HD mode how far these top chefs are successful in completing the challenge that they have accepted.

But the task does not end here. These are required to start a brand new business and create an Italian menu out of fresh and seasonal ingredients. Once their restaurant opens the ex-convicted crew has only 3 months to make profit else they will lose their last chance to give their lives a second chance.

Last Restaurant Standing

Have you ever thought of opening a restaurant with customers crowding to have a taste of your mouth-watering dishes? If you haven’t, then you will surely get a chance to do so with Raymond Blanc. Yes, you heard it right! World renowned chef Raymond Blanc returns with the Season 3 episodes of ‘Last Restaurant Standing’ on BBC America, an exclusive broadcast of DISHNetwork.

Nine Couples will be competing against each other to win this competition as it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to open a restaurant with Raymond Blanc. After undergoing two weeks of elimination rounds, six out of nine couples will be given the responsibility of taking care of an empty restaurant. They are required to collectively work together and are responsible for all the decisions taken by them. Only one couple will emerge as the ultimate winner if they are able to survive the tremendous pressure and arguments of the other couples.

According to Raymond Blanc, “The industry is under tremendous difficulty. Every day restaurants are closing down. I must tell you that the customer has become demanding and picky… he wants the best value for money and expects great things. So the pressure is on us all. We must aim higher. We must do better.”

The show which premiered this January (2010), is a must-watch for all fitness freaks. The show has become a brand name in the world of health shows.
